Specialist Speech and Language Therapist – Clinical Wellbeing Team


We are currently seeking a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join a dynamic and supportive Clinical Wellbeing Team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an expanding clinical provision, delivering impactful and holistic interventions to children and young people in a specialist educational setting.


In this role, you will manage a Speech and Language Therapy caseload and work closely with a well-established multi-disciplinary team. You’ll play a key part in developing assessment and intervention plans, facilitating staff training, engaging in reflective practice, and supporting therapeutic strategies across the setting. This position is ideal for a resilient, enthusiastic professional with a therapeutic mindset and strong organisational skills.

We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist who is passionate about improving the lives of vulnerable young people and is eager to work within a service that prioritises quality, outcomes, and holistic support.


Location: Gloucestershire area (GL4)


Essential Criteria


  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Registration with HCPC and RCSLT
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in a similar setting, working with complex and diverse communication needs
  • Strong background in multi-disciplinary team working and service performance
  • Clear, evidence-based clinical reporting and assessment skills
  • Experience delivering clinical supervision
  • Confidence in leading within multi-professional environments
