Procurement Business Partner (6 month Contract)

London, UK


Job Description:


We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Leader to join our team in London on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with the ability to lead strategic sourcing initiatives and optimise procurement processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Lead and manage the procurement team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to achieve cost savings and quality improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide procurement solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Analyse procurement data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Provide support to the Procurement Team, ensuring that they have the skills necessary to undertake their responsibilities and where necessary provide training directly or through the appropriate avenues , including briefings and the preparation and issue of guidance notes


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in procurement management, preferably in a senior role.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS).


Contract Details:

  • £70,000-£75,000 + excellent benefits
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Start date: August 2025
