Job description

HR Advisor

Salary: £40,000

Location: On-site in Fulham, SW London

We’re working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Officer or HR Advisor to join a global hospitality business, working at one of their recently acquired locations in South West London. This is a people-focused, hands-on generalist role with a wide scope and a fantastic mix of operational and strategic HR responsibilities.

About the Role:

Reporting into both the Hotel General Manager and the UK & Europe HR Director, you’ll be the go-to HR contact on-site, working closely with heads of department to support across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll play a key part in recruitment, L&D, employee relations, and culture initiatives, while ensuring legal compliance and excellent people processes are in place.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding across all hotel functions
  • Deliver core service training and support wider L&D initiatives
  • Own the monthly payroll process in collaboration with central teams
  • Advise and coach managers on all HR matters including ER and performance
  • Lead or support on projects around retention, engagement and culture
  • Ensure data accuracy across HR systems (ideally Peoplesoft/Oracle)
  • Support on reward, benefits, and internal communications
  • Liaise regularly with UK and European stakeholders

Ideal Candidate:

  • 2–3 years' experience in an HR Advisory role, ideally within hospitality or service-led environments
  • Confident delivering training, supporting ER cases, and managing payroll processes
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive, service-oriented mindset
  • Able to influence senior stakeholders and work autonomously
  • Comfortable working on-site full time and being a visible HR presence
  • Working towards or holding a CIPD qualification is a plus
  • Strong systems experience (Peoplesoft/Oracle a bonus)

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their HR career within a supportive and high-profile hospitality environment. You'll be working as part of a wider HR function, while owning the on-site HR operation at this hotel.
