We’re supporting a dynamic, high-growth organisation on the appointment of a Chief Operating Officer (COO); a newly created, board-level role at the heart of a business undergoing rapid expansion and transformation.

The Role

Reporting to the Group CEO, the COO will lead all central operations and play a critical role in building a scalable, efficient and high-performing platform. This role is responsible for designing and executing operational strategy across a network of acquired and organic business units, ensuring consistency, control, and compliance at every level.


Key areas of responsibility:

  • Leading group-wide operational integration and optimisation
  • Overseeing key central functions including systems, service delivery, data, reporting, compliance, and commercial partnerships
  • Embedding a performance-led culture through clear metrics and operational discipline
  • Driving service standards that support customer retention and long-term commercial value
  • Leading regulatory oversight, risk management and audit across a complex group structure
  • Developing and empowering high-performing teams aligned with group strategy


Your Profile

We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on operational leader with a background in scaling complex, regulated sales or service organisations. You’ll bring:

  • Board-level leadership experience within a high-growth, multi-site environment
  • A proven ability to unify operations across acquired or diverse business units
  • Commercial acumen and a track record of improving performance and service standards
  • Strong command of data, systems, controls and compliance in a regulated setting
  • Gravitas and credibility with both internal and external stakeholders
  • A collaborative, pragmatic leadership style with a bias for execution
