Job description

Transaction Management Associate – Permanent – London – Hybrid Working

My client is a leading global private markets investment firm seeking a Transaction Management Associate to join their growing Data Integrity function within the newly established Data & Analytics team. This is a hands-on, data-centric role focused on managing complex investment and investor transaction data across private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and multi-asset strategies.

As a key member of the Transactions Management team, you will take ownership of the accurate setup of investment vehicles, onboarding of new investors, and the input and validation of investment-related cashflows. You’ll also contribute to control testing, process improvements, and transformation initiatives to enhance operational scalability and data quality across the investment lifecycle.

The Transaction Management Associate will be responsible for:

  • Managing and approving investor and investment-level transactions in the internal database, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Reviewing and maintaining static data related to funds, investors, and investment structures.
  • Coordinating with third-party administrators to ensure timely settlement, data consistency, and operational excellence.
  • Supporting cross-functional stakeholders across investment, compliance, and finance teams with accurate data and transaction reporting.
  • Playing a key role in the business’ broader operational transformation, including process automation and enhanced controls.
  • Supporting junior colleagues and contributing to team knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement.

The successful Transaction Management Associate will have:

  • Proven transaction management experience, ideally within a fund-of-fund, asset management, or fund administration setting.
  • Strong understanding of private markets fund structures and transaction workflows across equity, credit, and real assets.
  • Proven attention to detail and control awareness when managing complex datasets and tight deadlines.
  • Experience in data manipulation and visualisation tooling (PowerBI, Python, VBA) etc.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for operational excellence and innovation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team at the heart of a prestigious private markets firm. You’ll gain wide exposure to fund operations, transformation projects, and a sophisticated global investment platform, all while helping to build the next generation of data-driven private markets infrastructure.
