Senior AMO Physicist – Neutral Atom Quantum Computing | Harwell, UK

A leading quantum technology team is seeking a hands-on experimental physicist to help advance neutral atom quantum computing. This is an exciting opportunity to work on next-generation quantum systems, translating cutting-edge research into real-world applications. The role is based between Kidlington and the National Quantum Computing Centre, with flexible hybrid working.

You’ll Need:

• PhD in experimental AMO physics

• Experience with atom trapping, laser systems, and optical design

• Proficiency in Python and control systems

• Strong collaboration and communication skills
