The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Legal Recruiter on a 6-month fixed-term contract to support a long-standing retained account within the legal sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Resourcer ready to take the next step into a Consultant-level role – or for an experienced recruiter looking to work in a more flexible, client-focused environment.

You will be responsible for managing vacancies end-to-end, sourcing legal talent across multiple disciplines, and delivering an exceptional recruitment experience. You’ll be embedded into our client’s business and seen as an extension of their internal team, acting as a trusted partner on all things talent.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for legal roles, from briefing through to offer stage
• Build strong relationships with internal hiring managers and external candidates
• Write engaging job adverts and proactively source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, and referrals
• Screen CVs, conduct interviews, and present qualified shortlists
• Maintain accurate records using our ATS and support with weekly client reporting
• Collaborate with the wider Harkaye team on hiring strategy, market insights, and interview process improvements

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience recruiting into the legal sector – either agency or in-house
• Strong sourcing skills with a solid grasp of LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search
• Confident communicator who can build rapport quickly with stakeholders and candidates
• Organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• A genuine interest in career progression and stepping into a more consultative role
