Head of HR (Confidential – Property Sector)

London (Hybrid – 4 days in office)

Up to £100,000 + up to 20% bonus + excellent benefits

Full-time, permanent

CIPD Level 7 required

Macdonald and Company are hiring for a Head of HR role at a growing property investment and development company based in London.

This is a rare opportunity to join a business at a pivotal moment of transformation. You'll lead the HR function across strategy and delivery, working closely with the senior leadership team to build structure, support growth, and shape the people agenda.

You’ll manage an established HR Manager and take ownership of the end-to-end HR function.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of HR strategy
• Oversee day-to-day HR operations and compliance
• Coach and develop the existing HR Manager
• Partner with leadership on organisational design and culture
• Drive engagement, talent development, performance, and recruitment
• Provide expert HR advice and employment law guidance

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior HR generalist role
• Strong understanding of UK employment law and compliance
• Confident stakeholder manager, able to influence at senior level
• Experience in property, construction, or fast-paced operational environments preferred
• CIPD Level 7 (essential)
