£47,736 – £65,270 | Full-time, Permanent

40 hours per week | Term-time flexibility

A highly respected specialist school in the Dorset countryside is seeking a HCPC-registered Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic) to join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary therapy team supporting neurodivergent young people.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a purpose-led setting that integrates therapeutic practice into education, offering a meaningful and rewarding long-term role.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conducting psychological assessments & evaluations
• Delivering individual & group interventions
• Supporting & training staff to respond positively to behaviours of concern
• Participating in multidisciplinary reviews and high-priority case discussions
• Supervising Assistant Psychologists and contributing to team development

✅ Ideal Profile

• Doctorate-level qualification in Psychology
• HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
• Experience supporting autistic young people (11–16) with complex needs
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming approaches
