Production Scheduler


Alexander Steele is working leading food manufacturing business in Buckinghamshire to appoint a Production Scheduler. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining efficient production schedules to meet customer demands, optimise resource utilisation, and ensure timely delivery of products. This role will suit a motivated individual who is keen to kickstart their career in planning within a food manufacturing environment.


What’s on Offer:


  • Paying £32,000 (D.O.E)
  • 28 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

  • 4% pension
  • Onsite Monday – Friday (9am – 5pm)


Responsibilities:


  • Manage planning calendars.
  • Execute and maintain toolbox as well as techniques required to evaluate impact of proposed schedule changes.
  • Ensure constant communication with stakeholders where pertinent when proposed schedule changes arise.
  • Liaise between departments such as procurement, manufacturing, quality control.
  • Track production progress and adherence to schedules.
  • Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.


Background Experience:


  • Experience in a similar position in a food manufacturing/processing environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Excel
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset and adaptability under pressure.
