Legal Counsel - Commercial Contracts & Public Procurement in City of London

Job description

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel with a strong background in commercial contracts and public procurement to support our complex, high-value projects across the business.

What You’ll Do:

• Draft and negotiate a diverse range of commercial agreements, including client contracts, supplier deals, and partnership arrangements
• Provide expert advice on public sector procurement, PFI projects, outsourcing, and multipartite agreements
• Manage complex legal issues such as contract variations, disputes, and regulatory compliance
• Deliver clear, practical legal and commercial guidance to internal teams and stakeholders

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified solicitor or barrister (UK or equivalent jurisdiction)
• Demonstrated expertise in commercial law, especially supply chain and outsourcing contracts
• Solid experience in public procurement processes
• Proven involvement with PFI or similarly complex structured projects
