Job description
The Programme and Partnership Support Officer at Witton Lodge Community Association supports the Head of Programmes and Partnership in planning, managing, and delivering community projects. Key duties include coordinating with partners, minute-taking, preparing reports for funders, and maintaining project plans. The role involves researching and developing partnership opportunities, leading on high-quality project proposals, and collaborating with internal teams and external networks.
Relationship building with funders and stakeholders is essential, as is representing the organisation at meetings and events. The officer must have strong communication, organisational, and research skills, and a good understanding of funding and policy environments.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:-
- Support the Head of Programmes and Partnership to ensure that the portfolio of tasks/projects is planned, managed and delivered effectively.
- Ensure accurate and open communication and co-ordination with a range of organisations and individuals, researching and drafting correspondence and papers.
- Minute/Note taking to support the administrative function and capturing decisions and outcomes of project meetings and groups.
- Prepare reports and gather information to send to funders and commissioners on the progress of various projects and programmes.
- Research and identify a range of partnership opportunities, including grants, contracts, and commissioning.
- Lead and support the development of high-quality project implementation in collaboration with internal teams.
- Maintain project delivery plans, tracking progress, identifying risks and issues and flagging these up at the earliest opportunity to managers.
- Work with wider partners, networks, and CVFSE to identify joint opportunities that align with shared goals.
- Lead on developing proposals and compelling partnership to support the organisations ambitions.
- Model a collaborative and influencing style of working, negotiating with others to achieve the best outcomes.
- Facilitate collaboration with stakeholders to shape innovative and community-informed solutions.
- Build and manage relationships with funders, commissioners, partners, and supporters.
- Represent the organisation at meetings, forums, and networking events to raise its profile and develop partnership leads.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the external funding and policy environment.
- To undertake any other duties as agreed by the manager.
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000
Full Time - 37 Hours per week
Location: Perry Common Community Hall, B23
