Location: East Midlands

Salary: £75,000 – £95,000

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of the business. This is a rare opportunity to be driving innovation at the heart of an iconic brand.

Key Responsibilities of the Head of Operations include:

• Lead and deliver transformational change projects across operations
• Oversee a shift-based high-volume food manufacturing facility, with direct responsibility for production, technical, and maintenance
• Drive leadership development and team engagement, fostering a high-performance culture
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing and retail leadership to enhance production efficiency, product quality, and profitability
• Identify opportunities for investment and process improvement
• Be a champion of positive, inclusive leadership – empowering people rather than commanding them

About You

• Experienced operational leader in food manufacturing
• Proven track record of delivering successful transformation and continuous improvement projects
• Strong people leader who inspires trust, encourages collaboration, and can coach and develop teams
• Comfortable operating in a hands-on environment, with the flexibility to work early mornings or nights where necessary
• Commercially astute, with an appreciation for the financial and logistical challenges of modern food production
• Emotionally intelligent, confident, and calm under pressure – someone who leads with purpose and integrity
