Technology and Change Risk Specialist in London Area

InterQuest are leading the search for bank to appoint IT Risk and Change Risk Specialist to join its second line of defence (2LOD) team. This function is responsible for providing independent oversight and control across key enterprise risks, particularly credit, financial, and operational risks.

This would be a perm role based in London on a hybrid working model (3 days)

Key Responsibilities would include:

• Provide tailored, risk-based advisory support to business and technology leaders, ensuring risk considerations inform key decision-making processes.
• Lead and deliver a variety of independent reviews and assurance activities, including thematic deep dives, control effectiveness reviews, and risk opinions.
• Balance oversight across both operational ("Run the Bank") and change/transformation ("Change the Bank") environments.

To be considered you would need:

• Prior experience of working on large, complex, multi- year Business and IT transformation programmes
• Knowledge of Risks and Controls within Build v/s Buy, On-premise v/c Cloud,In-house v/s offshore development, Intra-group services v/s local service delivery models.
• Understanding of change delivery and BAU Operational Risks (i.e. Typically experience in review/challenge handed over from project to BAU operational risks)
