Principal or Associate Sustainability Consultant – Energy Focus

Location: Reading (Hybrid)

We’re working with a leading design consultancy to appoint a Principal or Associate Sustainability Consultant with a focus on energy strategy and environmental performance. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of impactful projects, lead strategy development, and contribute to shaping the industry’s approach to sustainable building design.

You’ll join a national team of forward-thinking specialists delivering sustainability solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects. This is a high-impact role with scope for real progression and involvement in cutting-edge research, innovation, and industry guidance.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in sustainability and energy consultancy within the built environment
• Proficiency in modelling tools such as IES or Elmhurst, and dynamic simulation methods
• Experience with Part L compliance, thermal comfort, in-use energy assessments
• Confident leading projects and supporting junior team members
• Degree in a relevant subject area
• A genuine passion for environmental sustainability and low-carbon design
