Social Media Content Creator in London Area
bloobloom is looking for an Social Media Content Creator in London Area
Job description
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CREATIVE PORTFOLIO/SOCIAL MEDIA LINKS AND CV ARE INCLUDED WITH YOUR APPLICATION.
We are currently hiring for a full-time Social Media Content Creator role in our rapidly expanding start-up based in Notting Hill, London.
bloobloom was created to change the way people buy their glasses by rebuilding the entire experience. In a market populated by dinosaurs, we’re putting design and technology back at the heart of the process of buying a pair of glasses, making the journey fun and exciting without costing a small fortune.
At bloobloom, we also want the right choice to be as easy as wearing a great pair of glasses. That’s why we only partner with ethical factories, are climate neutral certified, and donate a pair to someone in need for every pair we sell.
If you have a cool personality and want to work with other awesome individuals for a great company this is the job for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Capturing high-quality video and photography
- Editing videos and photos with a strong sense of style, pacing, and brand consistency
- Brainstorming creative concepts and campaign ideas aligned with brand objectives
- Planning and managing the content calendar in line with launches, campaigns and trends
- Supporting the planning and execution of brand events and OOH activations — from helping with logistics and styling to capturing real-time content on the day
- Tracking performance analytics and compiling regular reports
- Spotting trends, memes and cultural moments we should jump on
Who You Are:
- A natural storyteller who lives and breathes social media — you’re always up-to-date with the latest formats, features and trends.
- Visually minded and detail-obsessed, with an eye for design, colour, and aesthetic.
- Someone who gets fashion — from catwalks to streetwear, and understands what speaks to Gen Z and millennial audiences.
- A fast-moving creator who loves experimenting with formats like Reels, TikTok transitions, and UGC edits.
- A proactive team player who’s confident helping plan brand events — and just as comfortable being on-site to capture content, brief talent, and post in the moment
- A clear communicator and team player who thrives in a collaborative environment but can also run with a brief solo.
- Data-aware: you love checking what’s working, what’s not, and how to tweak and improve.
- Flexible, curious, and full of ideas — always asking “what if we tried this?”
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in photography, videography, and editing (a strong portfolio is essential)
- A strong interest in fashion, style, and digital culture
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools
- Understanding of UK/international fashion audiences and trends
- A self-starter attitude, with excellent organisation and time management
Key Benefits:
- Opportunity to join a fast-growing and ambitious startup
- Work with a friendly team of highly motivated individuals
- Exceptional scope for progression and development
- An environment where you are listened to and can actually have an impact
- Spacious and modern new stores, with excellent staff facilities
- Regular company socials and events
- Free spectacles and sunglasses for you, and discounts for family and friends
- 22-day Holiday + Bank Holidays
- Competitive salary depending upon experience
