Decontamination Technician (Bank/Ad Hoc Shifts)

Are you an experienced Decontamination Technician with hands-on knowledge of Getinge washer disinfectors and drying cabinets?

We're looking for skilled professionals to join our growing team at 18 Week Support, helping to reduce NHS waiting times by delivering high-quality care through our trusted insourcing services.

As part of our Decontamination team, you’ll work across NHS sites to support sterile services departments with critical reprocessing tasks — ensuring surgical instruments are cleaned, packed, and sterilised to the highest standard.

✅ What you'll need:

• Proven experience in a sterile services/decontamination role
• Trained (with certificates) using Getinge washer disinfectors and drying cabinets (essential)
• Availability for shifts Monday to Sunday
• Strong attention to detail and infection control awareness
• A flexible, reliable, and team-focused approach
