Neurodevelopment Child And Adolescent Psychiatrist - ADHD & Autism

£155 p/h

Paid via LTD Company

Flexible days from Monday - Friday

Hybrid working available

Clinics are held F2F - all admin can be completed remotely.

Essential:

Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
Extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of children with ADHD, Autism, and other mental health conditions.
Experience working within a multidisciplinary setting.
Knowledge of diagnostic tools such as DSM-5, ICD-11, and familiarity with ADOS-2, ADI-R, or QbTest interpretation.
Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).

Key Responsibilities:

Lead psychiatric diagnosis and formulation of ADHD and co-occurring conditions.
Contribute to or lead multi-disciplinary assessments for Autism (in conjunction with ADOS-2, ADI-R trained professionals).
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents aged 5–18.
Initiate and monitor pharmacological treatments for ADHD in line with NICE guidelines.
Manage complex presentations, including comorbid anxiety, mood, and behavioural difficulties.
Provide written reports, treatment plans, and participate in MDT reviews.
Maintain clinical records in accordance with CQC, GMC, and safeguarding standards.
