Salary: Up to £28ph + Bonus, 33 days AL, Private Medical Insurance + GPHc Fees paid + much more!

Hours: 45 hours per week

Compass Associates are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s leading Community Pharmacy groups in the search for a diligent Pharmacist to join their dynamic team within a Hospital Outpatient Department in the Truro area. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and will be able to work effectively as a part of a cohesive team. You’ll have a “can-do” attitude and will have a passion for providing great care to the community.

As a Pharmacist in one of our clients hospital branches you will be given extensive and specialist training as well as gaining exposure to the hospital pharmacy environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimise patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products.

What You’ll Bring

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Proven pharmacy experience preferably in a hospital setting
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends
• A flexible and positive approach to problem-solving

Location

This Hospital is located in Truro which is commutable from Newquay, St Ives, St Austell, Perranporth and Falmouth.
