Contracts Lawyer - Real Estate Private Equity in London Area

Job description

My client, a Corporate Services business (PE), are looking for a Contracts lawyer to join the team on an initial 6 month FTC. Responsibilities will include:

• Drafted, reviewed, and negotiated engagement letters for outside counsel and third-party service providers across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ensured compliance with internal legal and risk policies, including alignment with Blackstone’s standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Liaised with internal stakeholders (legal, finance, procurement) and external counsel to streamline engagement processes and approvals.
• Maintained and updated templates, clause libraries, and best practices for engagement letter terms to promote efficiency and consistency.
• Tracked engagement letter execution, renewals, and expirations using legal operations tools and contract management systems.
