Their Compliance Services team, part of the Property Directorate, plays a vital role in ensuring the safety of their housing stock. Your new role
As a Fire Risk Assessor, you'll conduct fire risk assessments across Type 1, 2, and 3 buildings within our property portfolio-ensuring full compliance with fire safety regulations and standards. You'll be instrumental in identifying and reporting risks, recommending remedial works, delivering audits and inspections, and acting as a trusted technical advisor to internal teams and external organisations.
Key duties include:

  • Delivering 100% compliance for fire risk assessments
  • Providing technical fire safety advice
  • Ensuring remedial works align with FRA timeframes
  • Participating in cross-team collaboration to raise fire safety standards


What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for a qualified and experienced fire safety professional who brings:

  • Tier 2 accreditation via IFSM (or willingness to obtain)
  • A nationally recognised fire safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, IFE)
  • Relevant experience in the fire safety industry
  • Proven experience with FRA in social housing
  • Strong knowledge of the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order (2005)
  • Clear, confident communication skills to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders
