J Pugh-Lewis Ltd is a long established family business, known for delivering high-quality sportsfield, fencing and landscape projects across the Country . We’re looking for a proactive and organised  Assistant Estimator to join the friendly team at our Pilsley office near Chesterfield, Derbyshire

About the Role:

This full-time position will support our Directors with tender preparation, supplier enquiries, and general Contract administrative duties from our base in Pilsley (office based role)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assisting with the preparation and submission of estimates and tenders for Landscape & Sportsfield projects
• Sourcing supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Managing and organising tender documentation
• Liaising with internal teams, clients, and suppliers
• Supporting general administrative tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous commercial experience is essential
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Confidence using Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good numerical skills
• A keen eye for detail and willingness to learn
