Steelwork Supervisor – Architectural & Secondary Steel

Location: Travel between sites in England & Ireland

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Type: Full-time, Permanent

A prestigious architectural metalwork company is looking to appoint a Steelwork Supervisor to join their growing site team. The business specialises in high-quality architectural and secondary steelwork, including balconies, balustrades, staircases, canopies, and more.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced steelwork professional to step into a supervisory role and grow into site management over time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate site activities related to architectural and secondary steel installations
• Oversee site operatives and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety procedures and site protocols
• Coordinate with the project team, site management, and head office
• Maintain daily records and contribute to site reporting
• Monitor deliveries, materials, and general site logistics

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with architectural or secondary steelwork (e.g. Balustrades, balconies, staircases)
• Previous experience in a site-based supervisory role
• Ability to lead site teams and work independently
• Willingness to travel between projects in England and Ireland
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Valid CSCS card and full driving licence
