Marine Crewing Officer - Permanent – Glasgow - £competitive

A global leader in ship management is looking for a crewing officer to join its HR team in Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities

Crew Scheduling & Documentation
Ensure timely crew rotations and complete documentation for joiners. Coordinate with recruitment for officer and crew onboarding.
Crew Changes & Planning
Manage crew changes with agents and vessels. Maintain regular communication with seafarers and manning agencies for timely relief planning.
Contracts & Joining Documents
Issue employment contracts and ensure all joining documents are completed, signed, and uploaded in Crew Inspector.
Payroll & Budget Oversight
Process monthly payroll, request funding, and review OPEX reports, explaining variances over 5%.

Requirements:

Experience: You must have some experience with Cruise ships, Ferries or Yachts. Sea-going experience on a cruise ship is a strong advantage.
Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of cruise crewing operations, STCW documentation, and working knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and OPEX management.
