Job description
We are working closely with an International law firm who are looking for a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to join their established Data Protection team in London.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Data Protection lawyer, with a minimum of 5PQE and strong expertise in UK and European data privacy law. Experience across a broad range of matters within an international firm setting is preferred. Both inhouse and private practice candidates are encouraged to apply.
The tier 1 ranked Data Protection team advises a wide range of corporate and other organisations around the world, reflecting the firm’s strengths in sectors such as Communications, Media, Ecommerce, Financial Services, Health and IT. Data protection sits as a key part of their internationally recognised commercial team which consists of c.100 lawyers in London and is their largest London team.
The role of a PSL has evolved, no longer behind the scenes, this position offers a dynamic mix of responsibilities that go far beyond traditional know-how management. You'll play a visible and strategic role, with direct client interaction and a broad remit that includes managing and developing know-how and precedents, contributing to client-facing publications, supporting internal and external training initiatives, and collaborating with PSLs across the global network to share insights and best practices.
