Job description
We are delighted to be partnering with a global financial technology company specialising in FX, Crypto, and Commodities trading to support their search for a Commercial Legal Counsel based in their London office. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a mid-senior E & W qualified Lawyer working within Financial Services, looking to work at a growing company, very much at the forefront of innovation and creativity in the space!
Key Responsibilities
- Advising on all regulatory matters including marketing matters to ensure compliance and acting as a strategic advisor to the exec team to facilitate international growth.
- Drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts.
- Leading on all dispute prevention and resolution matters to safeguard the business.
- Liaising with other stakeholders, providing them with any legal risk from decisions being made and recommendations to ensure compliance and success.
- Working on cross border international work and liaising with regulators to ensure compliance and proactiveness.
Qualifications
- 8+ years PQE England and Wales qualified lawyer
- Currently works within the Fintech/Financial Services industry or at a Private Practice firm
- Proven experience in commercial contracts drafting
