Job description

We are recruiting for a York based Alternative Provision. They require an experienced Maths teacher to start full time in Sept 2025.

The role involves teaching Maths to students in an alternative provision setting, focusing on personalized learning and support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons to students.
• Assess and monitor student progress.
• Provide individualized support to students.
• Collaborate with other staff to create a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Relevant degree in Mathematics or related field.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Maths curriculum.
• Experience working with students in alternative provisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with special educational needs (SEN).
• Ability to use innovative teaching methods.
