Rural Surveyor - East Anglia Estate Management Consultancy

Location: Suffolk / Essex Borders

Contract Type: Permanent


Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking independent firm of Chartered Surveyors, Estate Agents and Land, Property and Farm Management Consultants, is seeking a skilled Rural Surveyor to join their team and advise on a diverse range of land and property matters across East Anglia.


Position Overview

The Rural Surveyor will play a crucial role in providing expert advice to land and property owners, focusing on valuations, tenancy advice, taxation, inheritance planning, development agreements, renewable deals, and infrastructure work, contributing to the firm's success and delivering exceptional service to their loyal client base.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct valuations and provide expert tenancy advice
  • Offer guidance on taxation and inheritance planning
  • Negotiate and manage development agreements and renewable deals
  • Engage in significant infrastructure projects across the region
  • Contribute to the firm's growth and success


Requirements

  • MRICS qualification with ideally 5 years post-qualification experience
  • Strong expertise in rural surveying, valuations, and tenancy advice
  • Proficiency in taxation, inheritance planning, and development agreements
  • Experience in renewable deals and infrastructure work
  • Flexibility to work on utility projects or general practice land agency
