Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (NEC Option A Experience Required)

Location: Near Heathrow (office-based 4–5 days per week)

Salary: £70,000 – £90,000

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: NEC – Option A experience is essential

Reporting To: Project Managers or Company Director

Employment Type: Permanent

They deliver full turnkey solutions—including supply, installation, civil engineering works, commissioning, and handover—for critical systems such as firemain networks, hot-water services, and potable-water pipelines. Notable projects include firemain upgrades at Heathrow’s Terminal 3 and British Airways maintenance base, as well as emergency firemain repairs and large-scale hot-water and water pipeline installations—all managed end-to-end for major airport clients .This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing construction business with a current turnover of £20m and ambitious plans for continued expansion. The company has experienced rapid growth recently, tripling in size, and boasts a dynamic and driven team.


The Role

We are seeking a capable and independent Quantity Surveyor to join the team in a standalone role, supporting the successful delivery of NEC contracts (Option A). You will work closely with Project Managers and report directly to the company’s leadership on certain schemes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Management of commercial aspects of NEC Option A contracts
  • Preparation of cost plans, procurement strategies, and valuations
  • Contract administration and change management
  • Liaising with internal project teams and external stakeholders
  • Working autonomously while supporting the company’s growth trajectory


Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering NEC Option A contracts
  • Comfortable working independently and reporting to multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment
  • Strong communication and commercial skills
