The Role and Candidate
The UK Finance Business Partner will serve as the key financial lead for Pop Mart’s UK business, working closely with the local General Manager and regional teams to support decision-making, monitor performance, and ensure the UK operation delivers on growth and profitability targets.
This is a commercially focused role, combining performance analysis, financial planning, and business partnering. It is suited to a finance professional who is confident operating independently, while engaging across functions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
Commercial Finance & Performance Monitoring
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and rolling forecast processes for the UK market
- Track P&L performance, margins, and key KPIs, providing actionable insights to the UK GM
- Deliver variance analysis with clear commentary and recommendations
- Support initiatives to drive top-line growth, improve ROI, and manage operational costs
Business Partnering
- Act as the finance partner to the UK Business and regional function heads for the UK business
- Provide financial input into local commercial decisions, store expansion, pricing, and promotions
- Support new store openings and investment proposals with financial modelling and analysis
- Liaise with regional finance to ensure UK forecasts and results are well understood and accurately consolidated
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly management reporting packs for internal use and regional consolidation
- Identify risks and opportunities in the UK financial performance and work with teams to address them
- Support inventory, capex, and payroll analysis as needed
Process & System Improvements
- Help improve local reporting accuracy and efficiency
- Support the development of tools, templates, and reporting processes tailored to the UK market
- Contribute to system improvement initiatives in collaboration with regional and HQ teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred
- At least 8 years of experience in Finance & Accounting
- Strong financial analysis and budgeting skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Proficiency in financial software and systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
