Job role: Ecologist/Senior Ecologist

• Take a leading role in creating habitat banks and overseeing planning projects, with a strong focus on conserving and enhancing biodiversity.

KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• CIEEM membership.
• Preparation and submission of habitat surveys and protected species assessments for BNG plans
• Knowledge of ecological principles and methodologies.
• Guide clients on biodiversity conservation and enhancement measures
• Botanical knowledge
• Conducting ecological appraisals(i.e. Phase 1 habitat surveys and protected species assessments).

ROLE OVERVIEW:

A Ecologist/Senior Ecologist is required to support existing clients within a growing team and play a key role in establishing habitat banks and managing and overseeing planning projects. The ideal candidate for this role will possess the ability to use their own initiative and have a degree in ecology or related field.
