Job description

We’re supporting a well-known organisation as they continue their transformation journey across a large consumer-facing division. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR generalist to shape people strategy within a fast-paced, digitally enabled retail business.

Partnering closely with a senior leadership team, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving performance, culture, and capability — while supporting business change and championing the employee experience.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and line managers, helping shape and deliver the People Plan in line with commercial priorities.
  • Supporting transformation programmes, organisational design and people change initiatives.
  • Championing performance, talent and succession strategies — helping leaders build high-performing teams.
  • Using data and insights to influence decision-making and track the impact of people interventions.
  • Coaching managers and embedding a culture of ownership, accountability and engagement.
  • Driving consistency and process excellence through a modern HR operating model.
  • Leading on diversity, inclusion, and engagement across the division.


What You’ll Bring

  • Proven HR generalist experience, ideally within retail, consumer, or lifestyle brands.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to align people strategy with business goals.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and delivering at pace within a large, matrixed environment.
  • Experience supporting online-led or e-commerce operations is advantageous.
  • A confident communicator and coach with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Passionate about data, culture, and making a tangible difference to performance.
