The Role and Candidate


We are seeking a dedicated Technical Assistant to join our Roboshop team on a full -time basis. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Roboshop vending machines located in London and nearby cities. The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining optimal stock levels, resolving technical issues, and ensuring the overall functionality of the machines.


Responsibilities


Ensure that all Roboshop vending machines are fully stocked and operational, conducting regular checks to maintain inventory levels


Travel to Roboshop locations in London or nearby cities to replenish stock and provide on-site technical support as needed


Diagnose and rectify any technical issues with the vending machines, ensuring minimal downtime

Liaise with the UK team and China headquarters to address and resolve technical problems related to the Roboshop operation


Support the setup and installation of new vending machines, ensuring they are properly stocked, calibrated, and operational from day one, and assist in troubleshooting any initial technical issues


Required Qualifications


Tertiary education or undergraduate studies in Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields

Strong organisational skills (desirable but not essential)

Previous experience in a technical or maintenance role

Basic technical skills for troubleshooting and maintaining vending machines

Able to work independently and manage time efficiently

Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with international teams

Fluent in English. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus

Able to drive in the UK with a driving license.


Desirable but Not Essential


Experience in stock management and inventory control
