Overview:
This is an outstanding opportunity for a Graduate Building Surveyor to join one of the UK’s fastest-growing, independently owned building consultancies. With 60% revenue growth in 2023, a £6.5m turnover, and over 800 instructions completed annually, this consultancy combines the scale to work on major national projects with the close-knit, supportive environment graduates need to thrive.
Their Manchester office has seen over 50% instruction growth in the last year alone and continues to expand off the back of high-profile client wins. You’ll gain hands-on experience across the full spectrum of commercial building surveying, working directly alongside senior professionals in a firm known for fast-tracked progression and strong APC support.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting senior surveyors on project delivery and professional instructions
- Assisting with building surveys, technical due diligence, and condition reports
- Working on dilapidations, party wall matters, and contract admin
- Getting exposure to £10k–£50m commercial projects across office, industrial, retail, and healthcare sectors
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and other consultants as you develop your confidence and commercial awareness
What They’re Looking For:
- A BSc/MSc in Building Surveying (RICS-accredited)
- Enthusiastic, ambitious, and eager to progress toward chartership
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- A keen eye for detail and a commercial mindset
- A team player with initiative and a willingness to learn
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
