JMC Aviation is working with a Maintenance Repair Organisation based in Biggin Hill, looking to recruit a new Ground Support Equipment Supervisor to join their team.

This is a Permanent Position based in Biggin Hill, UK.

Monday to Friday, working 07:00 to 16:00 or 08:00 to 17:00.

The Role

The primary purpose of this role is to determine work procedures and prepare work schedules to ensure scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is performed in a timely manner.

Other Duties Involve

• Ensure all ground support equipment is maintained in a serviceable condition
• Ensure all tools are maintained in a serviceable condition
• Operation and maintenance of workshop equipment and tooling
• Order parts required for preventive maintenance and major repairs
• Coordinate scheduling of equipment to be repaired
• Coordinate all quality assurance inspections on equipment
• Adjust errors and address complaints
• Ensure ground support equipment repair deadlines are met

In order to be successful in this role the Ground Support Equipment Supervisor will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes

• Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must be eligible for airside driving permit
• Ground support equipment experience, avionic or vehicle electrical experience is essential
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of operation
• Right to live and work in the UK
