Our client, a leading innovator and increasingly recognisable European Fintech is seeking a Head of Safeguarding and Reconciliations to strengthen, drive and oversee their Financial Operations

This role will be a key role not just in this function but across the business, collaborating with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Product, and Development as the company rapidly grows!

You will thrive in this role if you:

• Have extensive experience in a similar client money, safeguarding, reconciliations position for a payments firm
• Can help deliver the new UK regulatory requirements around CASS 15 to ensure the business achieve compliance and protect customer funds
• Can set up and embed strong governance arrangements around Safeguarding and the incoming CASS 15 regime
• Build and nurture a high performing reconciliations team and culture with an emphasis on accuracy and safeguarding compliance
• Have prior experience in designing, implementing and overseeing robust control environments
• Can build strong working relationships internally across multiple functions and jurisdictions and externally with third party suppliers, regulators and auditors
• Comfortable in monitoring regulatory compliance developments within UK
