We are committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility. To support this ambition, we are looking for a Climate Change Coordinator to help drive our climate-related data collection, reporting, and transformation processes.
Role’s main missions
As part of the Global Science and Technology team, the Climate Change Coordinator will be involved in shaping and implementing Artemyn's climate change strategy, including carbon foot-printing, target setting, and target tracking. They will also play a crucial role in identifying and delivering emission reduction initiatives across all operational areas, and in assessing and managing climate-related risks and opportunities.
Here's a breakdown of the key responsibilities:
- Collect and consolidate energy, emissions, and climate data from global sites
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and traceability of environmental data
- Support the development of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies
- Prepare data for internal dashboards and external reporting (e.g. GHG Protocol)
- Work with site teams to highlight potential energy improvement areas and support the application of best practices
- Support the ESG team in the implementation of an improvement plan for Artemyn and operate within group EHS policy to continue the enhancement of the group’s performance in this area
This position is open in Cornwall and open to a hybrid model.
Candidate Profile
You have achieved a degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Science or Engineering. Your first experience has helped you develop an ability to work with numbers that will help you to manage our climate/energy data.
This role requires:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail,
- Ability to translate complex scientific and policy information into actionable recommendations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with various internal and external stakeholders
- Experience working with climate/energy data, ideally in an industrial context is a must
