Location: Lyndhurst, Hampshire

Salary: £47,252 – £50,927 (SEO, Pay Band 3)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading and managing the Estates team, including direct reports.
• Overseeing leases, licences, valuations, and legal matters.
• Managing built assets and infrastructure across the estate.
• Supporting business planning, budgeting, and income generation.
• Liaising with stakeholders including The Verderers of the New Forest.
• Contributing to national projects like Forest Holidays and Forestry England’s Energy Strategy.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• MRICS or FRICS chartered status.
• Degree in Rural or relevant Estate Management.
• Strong experience in rural or general practice estate management.

Desirable:

• RICS Registered Valuer status.
• FAAV membership.
• Familiarity with GIS and MS Office.
• Understanding of sustainable forest management.
