TWX Recruitment is looking for an Procurement Specialist in Greater Bristol Area

Job description

Procurement Specialist

Bristol

£37,000 + Private Medical + Pension + Life Cover

Help shape supplier strategy, own key relationships, and drive sustainable procurement for globally recognised brands.

You’ll get full visibility across packaging, ingredients and supplier performance - building a stronger supply chain and your career at the same time. That means taking the lead on sourcing for big-name clients in the food-to-go space. It also means commercial decision-making, supplier negotiations, and launching new products with manufacturers who look to you for clarity and direction.

You’ll have space to influence what gets bought, who it’s bought from, and how it impacts cost, waste and sustainability - without the usual red tape. Your ideas won’t sit in a folder; they’ll go to market.

Why join?

They are a 35-year-old family business that creates and manages bespoke food-to-go solutions. The team is tight-knit, and your work will be felt globally - from product launches across Europe to long-term innovation for blue-chip clients. Expect regular best-practice sessions, a supportive team, and the kind of variety where no day feels repeated.

Perks include:

  • Private medical insurance for peace of mind
  • Life cover and pension to support your future
  • A sociable, inclusive and beautiful office in central Bristol

You'll be part of a team that regularly comes together to share best practices and enjoy social time. No two days are the same, and you’ll work in a fast-moving environment where having fun is part of the job.

What you’ll take ownership of

  • Managing ingredient, packaging and service suppliers to ensure stock is always aligned to demand
  • Leading commercial conversations with manufacturers and suppliers - setting terms, prices and service expectations
  • Tracking and improving supplier performance to meet both quality and sustainability targets
  • Building strong partnerships that reduce food miles and waste through smarter packaging and local sourcing
  • Supporting P&L accuracy by keeping cost data visible, forecastable and aligned with strategy

You’ll work closely with technical and finance teams to bring on new customers and keep standards high across every touchpoint. And you’ll be at the table for high-level conversations - helping steer commercial success, not just support it.

What you’ll need

  • Experience in procurement or supply chain within FMCG or foodservice (QSR, retail, or manufacturing)
  • A relevant qualification (degree or Level 6 equivalent)
