About the role

Working within a diverse, talented and high-velocity team, our Life Science Account Handler will be vital in supporting the UK team with onboarding clients, managing renewals, and improving processes and policies within the team and wider-company.

The role is a great learning opportunity and provides unparalleled exposure to the workings of an Insurtech and broker. If desired, the role has the potential to mature into an Account Executive, where you’ll be responsible for handling clients and negotiating policies with underwriters.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive team-player with exceptional attention to detail. They will also be able to think outside of the box and have the ability to go the extra mile for the Advised team and its complex clients.

What you'll get up to:

  • Manage your workload and provide consistently exceptional support to the Advised team and its clients.
  • The role will be industry focused in two of our key verticals such as Medtech, Life Science and Tech SaaS.
  • Work closely with Account Executives in finding solutions for new and existing clients.
  • Provide technical support to the team, including the drafting of documentation and processes.
  • Work closely with team leaders to optimise processes, technology and automation.
  • Assist in managing mid-term enquiries and the renewal process for existing clients.


Desirable Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to empathise with team and customer needs.
  • Strong software and technology competencies.
  • Ambition to learn and develop new skills.
  • Exceptionally organised, meticulous and able to multitask.
  • Progression towards Cert CII qualification.
