Support Team Lead in Newham

We are proud to be partnering with a Charity in London who are looking to appoint aSupport Team Leader on a 3-month temporary contract.

This will be a full-time position based in Newham, with occasional Outreach days and a rate of £24 - £26 per hour.

The ideal candidate will have an up-to-date DBS and experience of Outreach Support Work.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a team of 8 support workers
• Creating rotas and ensuring all shifts are staffed
• Performing regular 1-2-1s providing feedback and support
• Supporting Support Workers with complex cases
• Report writing for senior management

Experience required:

• Experience required in Outreach Support
• Experience working with rough sleepers

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• The ability to deal with service users compassionately
• Compliance and due diligence
• The ability to perform under pressure

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm, occasional early shifts 06:00 -14:00
