This is a truly exciting opportunity for a C level market access professional to step into a high-impact leadership role, guiding strategic engagements across global pricing, reimbursement, and health technology assessment (HTA). You will not only lead high-profile client projects but also play a pivotal role in shaping internal capability, line managing colleagues, and contributing to the firm’s strategic vision.

They operate as a true strategic partner to global biopharma and biotech companies, helping them navigate the complex access landscape and bring innovative therapies to patients around the world.


The Head of Market Access will join a team of deeply experienced professionals working across a range of therapeutic areas including oncology, immunology, rare diseases, and neuroscience. You will bring a blend of scientific expertise, commercial acumen, and strategic foresight to deliver compelling, evidence-led solutions that shape market access strategy at brand and portfolio level.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead end-to-end delivery of global and regional market access projects, including pricing strategy, payer landscape assessments, HTA readiness, and value proposition development.
  • Oversee the development of high-quality deliverables such as Global Value Dossiers, economic value narratives, HTA briefing books, and reimbursement tools.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, engaging directly with senior stakeholders to interpret access challenges and deliver actionable solutions.
  • Guide cross-functional internal teams in delivering integrated insights that blend HEOR, evidence synthesis, and commercial strategy.
  • Drive innovation in methodologies and service offerings to ensure the consultancy remains at the forefront of the market access landscape.
  • Line-manage and mentor junior team members, supporting their professional growth and contributing to a culture of excellence.
  • Contribute to business development through proposal writing, project scoping, and thought leadership.


Ideal Candidate Profile:


  • 8+ years of experience in market access, pricing, and reimbursement, with a strong background in consulting, biopharma, or health policy.
  • MSc/PhD in health economics, life sciences, public health, pharmacy, or related discipline.
  • Deep understanding of payer systems, HTA requirements, and value demonstration in major markets (UK, EU5, US).
  • Proven track record of leading multi-country market access strategies and managing complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Strong leadership and client management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and facilitate strategic discussions.
  • Comfortable mentoring teams and driving operational excellence across projects.
  • Experience in oncology, rare diseases, or cell & gene therapies is highly desirable.
