The Role

We’re looking for detail-oriented, linguistically sharp, and tech-curious individuals to join our growing team of AI Data Annotators. You'll work on-site (Monday to Friday) at our Manchester office to maintain high standards of data security and confidentiality.

As an AI Data Annotator, you will:

  • Transcribe and annotate audio recordings across various dialects and languages.
  • Perform quality assurance and validation of machine-generated transcripts, utilising human-in-the-loop and RLHF processes.
  • Work on training data for developing and current ASR, TTS, sentiment analysis, emotional tone detection, and preference modelling tasks.
  • Collaborate with linguists, engineers, and AI researchers to refine annotation standards.
  • Identify and flag edge cases or quality issues in datasets.
  • Contribute to projects related to training Large Language Models (LLMs) and improving speech AI systems.

What We're Looking For

  • Exceptional attention to detail — you can spot inconsistencies and anomalies in text and audio.
  • Strong linguistic or cultural knowledge (multilingual skills are a plus).
  • Experience with audio transcription, annotation, or similar tasks is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work efficiently with data labelling tools and meet deadlines/KPIs.
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks and long periods of focused work.
  • Passionate about AI, language, and the role data plays in model development.
  • Must be able to work on-site 5 days a week in Manchester (this is a security requirement).

Why ConnexAI?

  • Work on meaningful AI projects that power the next generation of voice and language technology.
  • Be part of a collaborative, expert-led team with a strong culture of learning and growth.
  • Enjoy the buzz of working in an innovative, truly global AI company.
  • Gain exposure to cutting-edge AI development across our products.
