Are you a passionate, commercial, fast paced person seeking a flexible and impactful role?
We are searching for a People Advisor to join our friendly team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our employees and creating a positive and productive work environment.
What You Will Do:
- Drive the delivery of a commercially focussed People service to our retail operations and distribution centre.
- Proactively contribute to both the commercial success of Robert Dyas and driving the people culture
- Develop and extend effective working relationships with Stakeholders
- Assist with the onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new hires.
- Champion the Robert Dyas employee brand to enable the successful retention of colleagues. Proactively support increased colleague recognition and engagement, with a view to creating a company people really want to work for.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Assist with employee relations issues, ensuring store managers have the appropriate skills and advice required to deliver a consistently fair and productive working environment
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve and drive shared goals.
Who You Are:
- Strong understanding of People principles and practices - Desire to drive the best people culture throughout the business.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels.
- Commercially focused
- Experience with Employee Relations
- Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a similar role is a plus.
