Are you an experienced HR professional ready to take your career to the next level? Elite Personnel is proud to be partnering with, a rapidly expanding and forward-thinking company, to recruit a dynamic HR Advisor for their Head Office team.

This is an excellent opportunity to be a key part of a progressive HR department where your ideas and input will make a real impact. You’ll be instrumental in supporting the full HR function across the business, working closely with colleagues at Head Office, within stores, and across warehouse operations.

This role is office based no hybrid working.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Your role will be varied and rewarding, with key responsibilities including:

  • Maintaining accurate HR systems and employee records
  • Creating reports and detailed spreadsheets using Excel (including VLOOKUPs and complex formulas)
  • Drafting job descriptions, person specifications, and preparing engaging job adverts
  • Coordinating the recruitment process: shortlisting CVs, liaising with agencies, arranging interviews, and supporting selection
  • Issuing offer letters and employment contracts
  • Supporting Hiring Managers throughout the recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Leading company inductions and ensuring a smooth start for all new hires
  • Managing the HR inbox and acting as a key point of contact for HR queries
  • Administering new starter, leaver, and agency staff processes
  • Coordinating and leading formal HR meetings (disciplinaries, grievances, flexible working requests)
  • Producing meeting documentation including invite and outcome letters
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
  • Supporting the Payroll team with relevant employee data
  • Assisting in the development and review of HR policies and the employee handbook
  • Responding to reference and data requests promptly
  • Ensuring personnel files (digital and paper-based) are up-to-date and compliant

What We’re Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you’ll need to bring:

  • Previous experience in a generalist HR position
  • Hands-on involvement across the full recruitment and onboarding cycle
  • Strong Excel skills, including Macros, advanced formulas, and data manipulation
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach with strong attention to detail
  • Confidence to advise and influence managers and employees alike
  • A solid understanding of current employment legislation
  • The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

Hours & Location:

  • Working Hours: 38 hours per week
  • Site Movement: Travel required between local sites
