HR Generalist - Reward & Operations
Working for a Private Equity firm, I am looking for a HR Operations Generalist who will be a member of the Total Rewards & HR Operations team. This role will support the HR centers of excellence. As the company continues to grow, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate employee records, supporting cross-functional HR initiatives, and delivering exceptional employee support through various channels. THE ROLE
HR Systems & Data Integrity
- Maintain and update employee data in Workday and other HR systems, ensuring accuracy across all platforms.
- Conduct routine data audits to identify and resolve discrepancies related to employee records, benefits, compensation, and organizational structure.
- Support UK pension data validation pre- and post-payroll, ensuring correct enrollment and contribution data flows between payroll and external vendors.
- Enter UK new hire information and benefit deductions directly into the payroll vendor site.
Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Support
- Coordinate and track pre-hire steps including background checks and Workday setup.
- Lead and present Day 1 onboarding sessions for new hires.
- Process onboarding, job changes, terminations, and benefits-related transactions in Workday.
- Support employment verification requests
- Verify Right to Work Documents
Benefits Administration
- Process benefit events (new hire, life events, terminations and support open enrollment coordination).
- Intake, audit, and reconcile benefit vendor invoices to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Help coordinate benefits fairs and other employee-facing events.
- Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and requests for leave of absence.
HR Reporting & Surveys
- Prepare and submit market surveys to compensation benchmarking providers.
- Perform data analysis to support HR programs and identify trends.
- Create and maintain custom audit reports for internal HR use and compliance tracking.
Process Improvement & Projects
- Identify and recommend efficiencies and process improvements across HR operations.
- Support cross-functional HR projects and partner with internal teams (Payroll, IT, Talent Acquisition, Legal).
- Maintain up-to-date HR document templates and process documentation (SOPs, FAQs, training materials).
- Assist with employee training logistics and administrative support.
If you have 5 years minimum in a HR generalist position with a focus in operations this may be the role for you. Workday experience would be an advantage
