Are you a recent or soon-to-be graduate looking to take your first step into the world of education?

We’re working with a number of welcoming and supportive secondary schools across Leeds who are looking for graduate classroom support staff and cover supervisors to join them from September. Whether you studied English, Maths, Psychology, History, Criminology, Sports Science, or any other related subject, this is a brilliant opportunity to bring your subject knowledge and energy into the classroom while gaining valuable school experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting pupils in class, small groups, or 1:1
• Assisting with literacy, numeracy, or subject-specific interventions
• Working with students who have SEND or additional needs (training provided)
• Leading lessons as a Cover Supervisor (training provided) — a great stepping stone to teacher training
• Building relationships and encouraging positive behaviour
• Getting hands-on experience ahead of a future in teaching, psychology, youth work, or mentoring

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree (2:2 or above) in any subject
• A genuine interest in working with young people
• A proactive, patient, and reliable approach
• A desire to learn and grow in an educational setting
• Any experience with teenagers (e.g. Tutoring, mentoring, sports coaching, youth work) is helpful but not essential
