Associate Lawyer - Banking in City of London

Job description

We are working with a top-tier international law firm based in London for an Associate to join their Banking team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join a market-leading Banking team, advising on a wide spectrum of complex financing transactions for a global client base. These clients include banks, corporates, and financial institutions.

The Associate will advise on general lending, trade and commodity finance, hotel financing, development finance, draft and negotiate loan agreements, guarantees, and security agreements, among other areas. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with the firm’s global teams.

Essential Criteria:

• Around 2-4 years’ PQE;
• Strong background in banking & finance law;
• Strong academics;
• Client-focused;
• Technically excellent;
• Negotiation skills;
• Willingness to become involved in business development;
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
