Are you an experienced procurement professional looking to make a meaningful impact? Hays are delighted to be supporting this leading Public Sector organisation dedicated to achieving value for money while delivering expert procurement and contract management support.
We are seeking a Procurement and Contract Management Specialist to develop and implement commercial procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with UK procurement regulations.

In this role you will

• Lead procurement strategies for designated business portfolios
• Manage procurement projects and oversee contract negotiations
• Ensure compliance with procurement legislation and best practices
• Deliver value through effective supplier and contract management
• Provide expert procurement advice to internal stakeholders

We are looking for individuals with:

• Proven experience in procurement within the UK Public Sector
• Experience of Asset management/ Construction /FM/ works categories
• Strong project management and supplier negotiation skills
• Expertise in UK procurement laws (PCR2015 & PA2023)
• MCIPS qualification or equivalent
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
