CoCo Group is looking for an Head of Development - Fitness Events in City of London

Job description

Head of Development - Fitness Events

London-based, with global travel

Salary: £70K-£80K

We’re working with a world-renowned music & lifestyle brand, the kind of brand that redefined nightlife and packed out stadiums, to launch the next big thing: a revolutionary concept at the intersection of fitness, music, and live experience.

Now? It's time to take this show global. We’re searching for a Head of Development - Fitness Events to lead the charge and turn this innovative format into an international lifestyle phenomenon.

What you’ll be leading:

  • Big-picture strategy – You’ll shape and execute the global vision for music-powered fitness events that feel more like festivals than workouts.
  • Product evolution – Take the current event concept and refine it into a cutting-edge, scalable offering. London is just the start.
  • Market expansion – Identify and launch into key international cities: Ibiza, Miami, Dubai, Amsterdam – wherever the vibes are right.
  • Creative direction – Ensure every event hits the sweet spot of music, movement, and atmosphere, working alongside content, design, and tech teams.
  • Team leadership – Build and inspire a world-class team across event production, fitness programming, operations, and marketing.
  • Partnerships & influence – Leverage your network of fitness talent, influencers, wellness brands, and artists to supercharge the brand’s presence and credibility.
  • P&L responsibility – Own the business performance, reporting on insights and shaping a financially sustainable model for growth.
  • Brand extensions – Lead launches across merch, live content, licensing, and creative collabs, pushing the brand into new spaces.
  • User obsession – Use data, feedback, and industry trends to constantly level up the experience.

Who we’re looking for:

You’re an innovator, connector, and doer – someone who thrives where creativity meets commercial thinking. You might be from fitness, wellness, experiential events, or all three, but you’ve got the vision and tenacity to take an idea and turn it into a global phenomenon.

  • A proven leader with experience in fitness product development or large-scale wellness events.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of launching or scaling concepts from scratch.
  • You’ve got the black book – a strong network of trainers, creators, venues, and brand partners across the wellness world.
  • Strategic yet hands-on – equally at home pitching a business plan as you are leading on-site logistics.
  • Commercially sharp – with experience managing P&L, partnerships, monetisation models, and growth strategies.
  • Creative flair with an obsession for culture, music, movement, and creating unforgettable, high-energy experiences.
